Art Class
At Buffalo Academy, our art program encourages creativity and self-expression while integrating a Christian perspective into every lesson. Students explore various artistic techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture, all while discovering how art can reflect the beauty of God's creation. Our dedicated art teacher guides students through projects that inspire them to see the world through an artistic lens, allowing them to express their faith and appreciation for God's artistry. Music Class
Our music program at Buffalo Academy is designed to instill a love for music while nurturing a deeper understanding of worship through song. Students participate in various classes, including choir, music theory, and instrumental instruction, where they learn to appreciate the beauty of music as a form of praise. Each lesson is infused with biblical principles, encouraging students to recognize how music can be a powerful tool for expressing their faith and emotions. Physical Education
Our Physical Education program at Buffalo Academy is designed to develop strong, healthy bodies while cultivating discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and good sportsmanship. Held weekly, students participate in age-appropriate games, exercises, and activities that build coordination, strength, and confidence. In keeping with our classical model, Physical Education recognizes that educating the whole child includes training both the mind and the body. Students are encouraged to practice self-control, pursue excellence, and care well for the bodies God has given them while learning the value of working together toward a common goal.
Library
Our Library program at Buffalo Academy is designed to cultivate a love of reading while inviting students to explore new books and adventures that align with our classical model of education. Held every other week, Library gives students dedicated time to discover engaging, age-appropriate literature that encourages curiosity, imagination, and a deeper appreciation for the written word. Students are introduced to stories and authors that complement their classroom learning while building strong reading habits. Through thoughtful exploration and discovery, we hope to inspire students to become lifelong readers who recognize the value of great books, meaningful stories, and the pursuit of knowledge.
