Dr. Kendra Cumberland

School Principal
Kendra Cumberland serves as the school principal at Buffalo Academy. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education at Trinity Christian College and earned her Master's in Reading and Literacy and her Doctorate in Education from Walden University. Kendra has taught and administered special education and general education across the grade levels and has served in both Christian and public schools. She attends church in Reidsville, NC and enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking in the National Parks. Kendra has a passion for Christian education and for helping students become lifelong learners.

Tricia Webb
Head of Curriculum
Tricia Webb graduated cum laude from UNC Charlotte in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She married her husband, Tim, in 1994, and they have two children—Abby, who is married to Sam, and Graham. The family is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first grandchild! With over 20 years of experience teaching 2nd and 4th grades in public, private, homeschool, and hybrid school settings, Tricia brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for education to her role. Currently, she teaches 4th grade in a hybrid model and has served on the Buffalo Academy board for 2.5 years. Tricia is deeply committed to supporting the school’s mission and fostering a love of learning in every child.

Gabby Bradt
Office Administrator
Gabby Bradt serves as an office administrator at Buffalo Academy. She earned her Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, VA. Over the past five years, she has worked as a school behavior analyst in Lynchburg, VA. She enjoys traveling with her husband, taking her two corgis on long walks, and needlepointing gifts for her friends and family in her free time.

Cam Garman
Admissions & Communications Coordinator
Cam Garman serves as the admissions and communications coordinator, with over a decade of experience in business, marketing, and media, Cam brings a creative and strategic voice to our communications efforts. Originally from the West Coast, she now calls Greensboro home, where she lives with her husband and their two children. In addition to her role here, Cam runs a part-time family photography business and enjoys spending her free time at the gym. Her passion for storytelling, community connection, and intentional design helps shape the way we share our mission with others.

Tammy Todd
Kindergarten Teacher
Ms. Tammy Todd is a dedicated kindergarten teacher at Buffalo Academy with over eleven years of experience in education, working with students from kindergarten through seventh grade. Outside the classroom, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and savoring a good book with a cup of coffee. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Texas Woman's University.

Noemi Zelaya
Kindergarten Assistant & Art Teacher
Ms. Noemi Zelaya serves as the art teacher at Buffalo Academy, bringing 12 years of experience as an artist and designer. Throughout her career, Noemi has worked as an art director, designer, illustrator, and painting instructor, enriching her creative approach in the classroom. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting elaborate piñatas and pursuing her passion for gardening, with a special interest in exotic plants. Noemi is a member of Redeemer Church in Greensboro, where she also teaches in the children's ministry.

Alexis Williams
1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Williams is a first-grade teacher at Buffalo Academy. She earned her Master's degree in Education at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Over the past five years Ms. Williams has taught Special Education, second grade, and Library Science. Outside of the classroom Ms. Williams enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, trying new coffee shops, watching documentaries or listening to podcasts.

Tatum Elliot
2nd Grade Teacher
Ms. Elliott is a 2nd grade teacher at Buffalo Academy. Teaching second grade, Tatum brings enthusiasm and a love for learning to her students. She earned her undergraduate degree from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Outside the classroom, Tatum enjoys exploring new places, discovering unique coffee shops, and playing volleyball.

Lynn Beasley
Lower Grades Teacher Assistant & Bible Class Teacher
Ms. Lynn Beasley serves as an assistant teacher at Buffalo Academy, bringing over twenty years of educational experience to our school. Throughout her career, Lynn has worked with children from ages 4 to 14, fostering a love of learning across a range of ages. Outside of the classroom, Lynn and her husband enjoy fishing and exploring the beauty of the North Carolina mountains. She attended Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Tracy Rodman
3rd Grade Teacher

Tracy Rodman is the 3rd grade teacher at Buffalo Academy. She brings nearly two decades of experience in education, having served students in public, private, and charter schools in a variety of roles. Tracy earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, with endorsements in Reading and Special Education, from William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and holds a master's degree in Special Education from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. Originally from Iowa, Tracy and her husband now call North Carolina, home. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, baking, and spending time at the beach. She is passionate about helping students grow academically while fostering a love of learning in a Christ-centered environment.

Brittanie Hendrick

Brittanie Hendrick serves as our fourth-grade teacher, bringing seven years of experience in both public and private education. A graduate of UNC Greensboro with a degree in Communication, she is currently pursuing her master's degree in education at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Brittanie is passionate about classical Christian education and delights in helping students grow academically, spiritually, and in their love of learning. She lives in Greensboro with her husband and their two daughters, who also attend Buffalo Academy. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, gardening, exercising, and exploring new places with her family. She considers it a privilege to partner with families in helping students grow spiritually and academically.

Emma Garman
5th Grade Teacher

Emma Garman is excited to join Buffalo Academy this year as the 5th grade teacher. She recently completed her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Sacramento State and is eager to bring her passion for teaching and learning to her students. After moving from California to North Carolina with her husband this summer, Emma is looking forward to this new chapter and the opportunity to pursue her dream of becoming an educator. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time at the beach, traveling, exploring new places, and making memories with family. Emma’s passion for working with children is rooted in her desire to help students grow, learn, and feel valued. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve her students and reflect the love of the Lord through her teaching and the relationships she builds in the classroom.

Marla Barham
Music Teacher
Ms. Marla Barham teaches music to all students at Buffalo Academy, bringing 18 years of experience across all age levels, from toddlers to high schoolers. Her teaching repertoire includes band, choir, and general music. Marla earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Bethel University in Indiana and is actively involved in her church as the director of both the children’s and adult choirs, as well as a member of the praise band. In her free time, Marla enjoys life on her farm, traveling, and singing with her husband Zac and their three grown children.

Michelle Peters
Physical Education Teacher

Michelle Peters graduated from the University of Vermont with a BS in Physical Education. She has fond memories of playing on the UVM softball team. She has taught for over 15 years including high school, ESL, and home-schooling her own children. She is a RRCA certified and NFHS certified cross country coach. She been a CPR instructor since 2021. During the summer she enjoys officiating track & field events with USATF.
Michelle and her husband, Dan, have two teenagers, one studying at Anderson University and the other is a senior in high school. Together they enjoy participating in Tae Kwon Do tournaments and running the trails in GSO. -

Brian Marsh
Chapel Pastor
Brian Marsh serves as the Chapel Pastor at Buffalo Academy, where he brings warmth, wisdom, and a love for guiding students in their faith. As the pastor of Buffalo Presbyterian Church and an enthusiastic Clemson fan, Brian has a heart for both his community and his congregation. He is an avid outdoorsman who finds inspiration in nature and enjoys sharing his appreciation for God’s creation with the students. Pastor Marsh is dedicated to fostering a nurturing spiritual environment where students can grow in their understanding of faith.

Debbie Juday
Front Desk & Admin
Debbie Juday is the friendly face at the front desk of Buffalo Academy, warmly greeting everyone who walks through our doors. As a valued employee of our church, Debbie supports the school in countless ways, from assisting with tuition payments to answering questions with a smile. Her love for the Lord shines through in her interactions, making her a reassuring presence for students, parents, and staff alike. We’re deeply grateful for her dedication and joyful spirit, which bless both our school and church communities.

Bill Rhodes
Treasurer
Bill Rhodes serves as Treasurer of Buffalo Academy and Buffalo Presbyterian Church. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Accountants and provides the accounting assistance needed for both organizations. Bill loves the Lord and has been a member of Buffalo for 22 years. He is currently serving as a Ruling Elder. Bill and his wife Mary live on a farm and enjoy the many activities afforded them with farm life.
